Been wanting to do a set like this for a long time. I haven't been on GH in a while and wanted to come back and contribute something as well as introduce myself to any new members
I present "The Fatality Set"

This is still in early stages and want to see what interest and hear other peoples ideas for production. DS will be too expensive for the new font legend fees; So dyesub it most likely will be. IMSTO did a good job on the original mortal kombat keys I had him make. Looks like he sells quite a lot of them now!

The number row and function row will obviously be done as well ;-) ALSO I want this set for my FC700R so I am going to look into the possibilities of getting a compatible space bar.

Do you mean the incomplete ones? Hazeluff will finish it up once there is enough interest for sure. The font I found didn't have numbers in it :-(

Yes I have posted twice now about that. Once enough interest is supplied the mock up will get finished. No numbers in the font we used so we will have to make them :-)

Do you mean the numbers and functions row? I found out that because there aren't numbers in that font and they are making them still

Maybe we could use Cherry font for the Alphas and do novelty Modifiers like "Finish him!" as backspace or something.

That is a possibility... With Cherry font we would be able to do doubleshot now since the legends are already done right? I'm not up to date :-/

Yep, the legends are ready for use and Cherry replica GBs are popping up like daisies.

Well that's a good idea. We obviously would open up the custom keys to separate orders to pay off the legend fees for those. Finish Him! for backspace was always an idea as well ;-)

PBT feels rough to me. I don't like that at all. I have two more sets of Cherry PBT that I bought to try out and I'll probably get rid of them soon.

Hmm well if we went with cherry font we could doubleshot ABS. How about Cherry font but bigger/bolder than normal? Just so their isn't a 1000 identical Cherry sets.

SP doesn't have any decent purples, so this'll need to be a custom color if we go with them. danielucf knows all about that, you might drop him a PM.

Oh Gawd...here I thought we could go all Purple (a colour that should be used more often) but it looks like another obstacle that SP wants to charge heavily for.
There are some other key-sets wanting to use the Purple colour, may unite with them - if you're looking to pay SP for a so-called custom colour mix?

I was thinking about this myself. Though, if you want purple with thick Cherry profile I am afraid you will need to meet at least 400 set MOQ and I am not sure about how easy it would be to get a specific shade, I think custom color MOQ was something around the 1000 mark.
However, I had idea that if you did it on white set, you could do the yellow/orange/red gradient with black outline like the logo style for all the alpha numerics in the MK font.

You could do some extra keys with the character portraits in full color, and other cool things like that with white base.
