Title: Changing spacebar form factor?

I have a QuickFire Pro and would like to potentially desolder/alter/move some bits around to make the board accept a standard sized spacebar. The Quickfire Pro uses an odd form factor with no third party replacements and I would like to solve this problem with as much/as little brute force as possible. Is a change possible?
