I could remove the switches but the shipping back and forth from Canada would be silly just for that.

Ya and the cost would suck, I actually have a friend that works with electronics, and could probably do it. Give me couple days to try work something with him. But again if someone else shows up don't hesitate to buy it off them. Also PM me address so I can take a look at shipping cost, and a price you would like to pay for the case, PCB and plate shipping not included.

I do like greens and don't recall saying it's my favorite (was I drunk?).

I don't like the design of this board and I hate Sewer Master keycaps. The initial purchase was a QFR with Greens. Few keys were not clicking and CM replaced it with a Storm Trigger. I didn't lookup their site before accepting what they referred as an "upgrade". I was in for a unpleasant surprise.

When my girl friend saw the 4 delivery guys pulling that box off the truck she said. Honey you finally got us a piano for the living room. Then I had to sleep in the dog house for 3 days.

I think the design of this is worse than Razer. It looks and feels cheap, like one of those rubber dome backlits that go for like $20. It's even got rubber grips on the side - and when was the last time you needed rubber grips on a keyboard? When you were engaged in a tug of war with an enemy gamer?

But all Cooler Master keycaps suck. I think you can make them shine in two weeks if you're a big typist. Hell, Rootwyrm with his hands of steel will probably shine them in a day. If anything, this is one of my LEAST favorite things about Cooler Master. Hell, they should just sell keyboards without keycaps, and offer their ABS keycaps for a $2 upgrade because that's about all they're worth. They could make more money, like keycool, selling separate sets of nice PBT keycaps for $20 or $25 each.

left alt, ctrl and shift as well as WASD cluster are not white anymore, more like gray-ish fromt he usage (i think they can be cleaned though, i just didn't bother)

Thanks I purchased way too much in R5 with the R4 fixed keys, I also asked him about R4 but he doesn't have the blue modifiers I need since I purchased gray alphas which should be the same as R4?

Hm sorry I dunno whether R5's grey is the same as R4's. 7bit should be able to answer if you ask on the Deskthority GB thread, or if not I'm sure Muirium would know.

I missed out on R4, but I've ordered a bunch of R5, along with some R4 blue repair caps for some color accents. :)

Hm sorry I dunno whether R5's grey is the same as R4's. 7bit should be able to answer if you ask on the Deskthority GB thread, or if not I'm sure Muirium would know.

I missed out on R4, but I've ordered a bunch of R5, along with some R4 blue repair caps for some color accents. :)

I am not going on DT until 4/1 since R5 orders end in 3/31 and I don't need to order anymore.

I'm a regular on [H] Anandtech etc. I have a binned 2600K that I picked up in a combo deal. Does 5.0 on 1.38v with a MIVE under water. It's a bare chip not sure if your still looking or not.
