Title: Which is quieter? Thick or Thin PBT?
Post by: fourzeropooh on Sun, 22 December 2013, 22:35:09
Which is quieter? Thick or thin PBT? Or are they the same loudness? Will the sound be amplified more with thin than thick?

Thin will be more high pitched, thick will be more low pitched. Thick bottoming out will be louder. Thins will make blues sound louder. There really won't be much of a different in volume, as much as the actual sound though.

Ah I see. Thank you for the help. I will probably go with thick.

I agree. They're both equally as loud. Just sounds different in pitch.

the sound level will be equaly loud but due to the high and low pitched sound i am more comfortable with the sound of thick pbt. it turns the "click" into a "clack" and the bottoming out is not a "tack" but a "tong"
