Title: Wow, Is claymore Bluray 1080i60 ?
Post by: tp4tissue on Sun, 22 December 2013, 23:43:37
It reports 29.9fps in the player, but it's so super smooth when I'm watching it.. I wonder if the subfields are different frames, as in 1080i60 vs 1080i30

Does anyone know how I can find out?

Hi Proj D.. Thx for the links..

but my question is whether the temporal resolution of the film is 60fps.. as in the a/b fields correspond to separate instances of time each 1/60 sec apart.

ofcourse not.
If it was, it would look "floaty" like the hobbit does.
also remember this isn't "film", this is CGI/Animation.
I don't think there's capture in 60FPS for animation like real life movies

i could be wrong.
