So, recently I noticed the increase in popularity of a newish brand called Tesoro, decided to take a look and I will be looking at buying one of their keyboards and doing a review on it. My question is, has anyone got experience with any tesoro keyboards, and looking at this page, which one would people recommend? My preference so far is Cherry MX blues as that's all I've ever used :P

Not 100% on which way it goes, but I think Max Keyboards owns Tesoro or works in conjunction with them. They've been selling Tesoro things for a while on their website, including mice. Or else Tesoro makes stuff for Max.

Max will probably should be a distributor as the people behind Tesoro are Taiwanese (:

They've really been pushing hard with the marketing. It's pretty obvious that Ripster has no qualms about getting free stuff or getting paid to market stuff since I've noticed him doing posts on random stuff no one has heard of and doing big pushes for brands like Tesoro.
As for info about them, I haven't seen much mention about them, teardowns and pictures of the cases and PCB, and so on, so it's hard to comment on the quality. They just look like another flash over quality brand like Razer (not that you can't have flash and quality).

I hadn't heard of them, and someone pointed me towards Tessoro (NSFW), but then Tesoro, when I was looking for backlit Cyrillic keyboards.
Perhaps these are more popular in eastern European countries?

iOne oem have been known in past to crank out sub standard quality item like Razer BW, Qpad, qTronix, Scorpius, Monoprice, Adesso, etc. Recently on some lines they seem to have stepped up their game, but I still generally wouldn't recommend them. In short iOne has a poor track record as an OEM and still need to earn credibility by making more quality items that don't self destruct from poor assembly or inexplicably loosing their firmware for no reason.

Hi.
I've just recived this new Tesoro Colada Saint edition.
http://www.tesorotec.com/gaming-keyboard/tesoro-colada-saint-g3nl-aluminum-backlit-mechanical-gaming-keyboard.html
With MX Browns. this is my first cherry switches keyboard, my first keyboard in a long time. I'm a newcomer to cherry switches, and can't have a solid opinion. The keyboard feels extremely solid, It's top case is made from aluminium. I can't see further how good it is.
As for the browns... I have been not disappointed. I like the touch and the different feel over other mechanical (older) keyboards I have. But all I've get is into the need to try other switches.
