I can vouch for trentva. He's a great guy and these FC660C's are a great deal.
GLWS :)

thanks wildcard, i hope you're enjoying that fc660c!!!!
-
GLWS, would have grabbed it but just bought a hhkb.
-
I'd like this. Sending a PM.

sounds like a good deal, GLWS!
May I humbly ask you about your RSI? I thought keyboards like Topre are supposed to be good for those with RSI. Not having RSI myself I happily use mechanical keyboards without a second thought.
So may I ask why you didn't like the Leopold? And if you are using another keyboard now that doesn't cause you RSI problems?

yeah, the rsi is weird for me..it seems as if everytime i dont use a flat profile keyboard it kicks up and the higher thekeys are from the surface im typing on it gets worse. i've spent a lot of time trying to correct my posture and such but to no avail. topre and certain mx switches are in general better for you if you have rsi but not for me.
-
ok trentva, what about a negative slope keyboard? I don't know the correct name, but some people think that a kb should be sloped downwards. Maybe if you tried tilting your keyboard the other way it would be better for you in your case?

yeah, that's an interesting insight! it feels weird though...i'm currently using the logitech illuminated k800 wireless keyboard http://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/wireless-illuminated-keyboard-k800?crid=26 its the most comfortable keyboard i've used yet...the keystrokes are tactile and yet feel super smooth.

Thought I'd shoot a photo of the FC660C keyboard I picked up from Trent.
This thing is great. I thought the layout looked a little off at first, but I agree that the domes in this keyboard probably feel the best of all the "stock" Topre's I've owned.
Thanks again

If you own many Topres a comparative review may be useful for the community.

There's a LOT of those already though. daerid and eth0s have two great comparisons off the top of my head

I thought that because of your comment. I know there are many, but appears you may have something to add to them.

I agree a detailed post would be good for those deciding between Topre's.
Also congrats to whomever picked up Trent's last board, you'll enjoy it. I did change one thing on the board. I switched the function and win keys. There is a dip switch on the bottom to change this.

I did the same change in mine, it allows easy access to home, end and page down, page up that are in the second layer of the arrow keys.

Is this sold?
Pretty sure it's sold, that's what it says in the title but I could be wrong.

That's what I get for using the search function. I should have doublechecked when I got in the thread.
Oh well, thanks.
