Title: What are the white plastic "hooks" that you attach to stabilizers called?
Post by: Novus on Sun, 29 December 2013, 16:28:31: What are the white plastic "hooks" that you attack to the keyboard stabalizers called?

I'm referring to these:

I'm looking to buy some of these for the larger keys, so I don't have to transplant these for new keycaps from my older keycaps.

Post by: riotonthebay on Sun, 29 December 2013, 16:30:36: I've always heard "stabilizer inserts". This is what WASD calls them here (http://www.wasdkeyboards.com/index.php/products/keyboard-parts/cherry-mx-keycap-stabilizer-insert-2pcs.html#ad-image-0) as well.

The extreme differences between manufacturers is irritating.

Looks like i'll be buying a few of these :).
I can also pick them up locally yay ... That and I couldn't find any other places that sell these because of the nomenclature differences

No, some are just tight and some are just loose - entirely dependant on the keycaps.

There may be different sizes but they function all the same.
