Title: .gif and image uploading issues

More than half the time I try to post a .gif lately it just comes out as a static image. Also, lately trying to upload pictures will make the site lag out for a few minutes then give me an error page. Happens in both Firefox as well as Chrome.

It's an issue with SMF, I'm assuming you're talking about an avatar? SMF has a nasty habit of dealing with gifs by turning them into a png when it has to be resized.
