Want both, so pretty.
-

-
GMK RA?
Yea buddy! And GMK ragnorock.

Dat RoW.
Isn't the black just a charred orange set with different Esc and WASD cluster?
-
lol. 1953 CNY for this 60th anniversary, which means...... 322 USD. For this price, I can buy a Cherry legend - ERGOPLUS, already.
P.S. I'm just wondering why China market get this stuff exclusively while Cherry is a Germany-based company.

I just figure the picture has some bad lighting. Don't know why they'd use charred orange when red is the theme of everything.

So basically this is just a taobao adveristiement??
And dat price
-
As much as I like PCB mounted switches that 3000 better be plate mounted for the price...
-
So basically this is just a taobao adveristiement??
And dat price
Pretty much the only info out there at the moment, it's a China exclusive so we probably won't see much more on it.

I'm sure qtan can get these...

Not interesting, not interesting at all. The red legend keys are sort of neat, but why do I have to buy this monster with it? Why is it not a 1800 or something interesting? What a waste.

Really they should have put doubleshots on those fancy 1800's in the case and made them cheaper
-
white with red legend doubleshots... oh man, sooo nice.
-
Pretty much the same sentiment as above, excited for the keycaps, not so much on the keyboard's layout & form factor
-
What is the actual MSRP on these?
-
These should be available in other regions as well. As far as I understand it these ARE NOT an Asia exclusive item but will have certain quantities allocated per regions. But if they do really end up $320 they can go **** themselves. I would rather buy 3 GMK sets in a groupbuy.

China's Cherry distributor special order things and slap a limited edition label on them.
-
For that price, it's not attractive at all. Love to see what's inside
-
I like the white one - kinda reminiscent of the Cherry replica GB set.
-
Do want.
but dat price tho
-
What is the actual MSRP on these?
It's official cherry taobao store. So...
-
Oh my, they were not kidding about the MX logos on the top corners
-
But this isn't a great find :P
-
Yeah this only has a Taobao link because that's the only information out there, can we get this moved back to keyboards?
-
Dat price -_-
Really I would love to spend 200-250$ on a kb like that, but 320$ ? That's bullsh*t, I'd rather buy 2-3 other GMK sets than this

Im sort of surprised people are complaining about price. Many people here wouldnt hesitate to fire off 300-500$ for a korean board, and here we have a limited-edish Cherry board that looks very sharp and has some amazing caps. The packaging looks collectible as well. As a whole, isnt this thing made of the kind of novelty **** we all drool over anyway?
Another thing I like about it is that its sort of a nod to the "enthusiast" community. I do wish it was cheaper and more available, because frankly I want to buy one. Its probably a bit overpriced but nothing to scoff at. In comparison, most of our keyboard gear is relatively overpriced when a 15$ rubber dome can get the job done.
-
$50'ish keyboard + $90'ish keycap set + $1 for stickers does not a deal make.

This Taobao ad posing as a 'great find' has convinced me that I really need to reduce my geekhack involvement. This forum is really too commercialized. I am fed up with the subtle and not-so-subtle manipulations by people with things to sell.
Unique? Lots of things in the world are unique. Why don't you collect them all? Stamps, phone cards, iphone covers, whatever.
And outside CoolerMaster and Razer products, probably all mechanical keyboards are 'limited edition' anyway. Even a fairly common model from a big manufacturer like Corsair or Ducky probably has a production run of no more than a few thousand.
Cost is probably no more than $80. The rest - pure profit, derived from suckers who are perpetually looking out for keyboards that look slightly different from other keyboards.

-

-
