Is it $164.99 - $45 = $119.99, or can you apply the $20 rebate as well making it $99.99?

Great PSU. Doesn't really matter for me though, too far away. The practice of mail in rebates are non-existent around here, I wonder why.

mail in rebate is an elaborate scam in the financial industry..

borrow/lend money at zero interest from public funds

rejection quota to make up for large portions of operational costs..

It's like free money..

THEN.. package all that into a complex derivative..  sell it to a foreign bank... and boom no one's the wiser.(http://emoticoner.com/files/emoticons/onion-head/relax1-onion-head-emoticon.gif?1292862517)

How long does it take for you to get the mail in rebate? I mean sometimes it is upwards of 20%, and if they want to "borrow" money from me for a month or so at 20% interest than fine by me :)

rebates are usually around the 4-6 months these days..

and the type of products that rebates are attached to these days have markups of 10-30%, so in small quantities, they're essentially borrowing money from you for FREE..

Ontop of that, some of this process is dedicated to money laundering..  someone puts up a bid for xxxx million dollars... then a group goes and procures xxxx worth of product, then apply rebate, eat 50% to 70% of it, and out comes crisp clean USD for the drug lords and human traffickers..
