Title: Model M's as substitute for futon mattress?
Post by: Typey Toes on Thu, 09 January 2014, 21:41:11
I've been pondering this. How many would you need? Would the Model M be ideal or something else such as Cherries? Obviously we are well catered for regarding choices.
As a side art project you could connect them all to a pc and then in the morning see what mysterious key presses your body entered as you slept.

Hmm........

you could fit about 4 keyboards behind you..

Further assume each key is heavy and offers 80g max

you're ontop of 80% of the keys at any one time..

104 x 4 x .8 x 80g = 60lbs of force

mmm.. this might be possible if you're very skinny.... and your torso is very flat and evenly distributed...

That doesn't sound like An American to me. Flat torso? How many of the folks in your average Krispy Kreme or Dunkin Donuts have flat torsos?
