So I'm finally sending this baby north. Sign up using the link below. Not sure how much interest there is, so I'm not capping the number of recipients. The previous thread (http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=44880.msg933523#msg933523) is available for your perusal.
Getting the keyboard into and out of Canada is going to be a bit pricey. A few minutes of interneting suggests $30-$40 from US to Canada and about $30 back to US. Once everyone's signed up, we'll split this cost between us (I'll take a share as well). Everyone can paypal me their money and I'll ship to the first person. Then the last person will ship it back to me and I'll reimburse them out of the collective funds. Each person will have to pay for domestic shipping to the next recipient (this is around $11 in the US). Sound good?
Rules:
1. Take care of the UST. It's a community resource, so let's make it last as long as possible.
2. Make it snappy. Send the UST on to the next person on the list within a few days of receiving it. I will PM you the next address as soon as I know you have it.
3. Ship the UST properly, with tracking if possible.
4. Communicate. Post in the thread when you've received the UST, and when you've shipped it. If you'd like, post a review and say which switches you liked and why.
Optional (but encouraged): take a fun picture of the UST and post it in the thread.

Not likely. We have to split the shipping to/from Canada, plus you have to ship to the next person inside Canada.

Shipping from Canada back to US for a fullsize with tracking should be only $30. Dunno bout US to here. Within Canada should be prob $20 or so. I've sent a keyboard to BC and while I do not remember the exact cost, it was not too bad.

There have been a couple. Should to be around $60/n + domestic shipping to the next person.
edit: n is currently 0, so if we don't get some sign-ups, I'm gonna be in debt for a while. :D

I shipped a full sized from montreal to Texas and it was about $30.

If there is anyone else here in the GTA or willing to travel to Toronto I'm wondering if there is any interest in getting this thing shipped up here and organizing a meet, BYOK and try the ultimate switch tester?
I'm willing to host or we could find some venue down town?
