Hello,
I'm a newbie to this forum and the world of mechanical keyboards. I'm planning to buy my first MK and Ducky seems a good brand. I notice they have Zero DK2108S and Shine 3 DK9008 which are easy to get in my country. So I want to ask some advice from experts here. What is the difference between them? My needs are casual gaming and daily internet surfing.
Thank you.

They are similar; the Shine 3 has all of the fancy backlighting modes (you can check them out in videos) while the Zero doesn't, but it's very affordable.

Ducky's Zero series is their affordable line. From what I recall for their Zero S(hine) line is that they're available in only 2 LED color choices, Blue and Orange. In terms of lighting modes, it's LED on/off, 8 levels of brightness and the breathing mode. In comparison to the Shine IIIs, the Zero S does not have programmable lighting functions where the LEDs stay on for specific keys, ripple mode, wave mode, etc. etc. As with the normal Zero keyboards, they come with an attached USB cable.
Bottom line, if you want a fairly basic backlit keyboard without all those unncessary lighting modes, attached cable, and the solid Ducky quality, the Zero S series are a great option.
