Title: Filco, Cherry Blue, 104-Key Layout, w/ N-Key Rollover?
Post by: BigWopHH on Fri, 13 February 2009, 23:52:21
Forgive me if this has been asked before, but are there any Filco keyboards out there with Cherry MX Blue switched, a 104-key US layout, and N-Key Rollover?  Thanks...

If not, how would you compare the Cherry Browns to the Cherry Blues?

I don't think there is one with Cherry blues:

Browns and blues are similar in feel. I would say browns feel a bit lighter and have a less pronounced tactile bump. You can compare force graphs here:

I prefer Cherry browns and white ALPS to Cherry blues. The blues have this high-pitched plasticy click sound which I find quite irritating.

Are the Filcos PCB or plate mounted?

They're plate mounted.
