So a couple weeks back, my micro-USB port on the back of my v2 broke right off it's (what's the term for that? Break-out board?) mini PCB. So I contacted WASD and they promptly sent out a replacement and a tool to help open the case.
As soon as I saw the replacement part, and that it was a filco connection, I realized I had a filco terminated custom cable laying around. So I took my dremel and opened the port up a bit, so the hole in the case was big enough to fit a cable through. I plugged it in and everything was coming up green, but I have a question.
The v2's controller looks exactly like the QFR controller, and I have a frosty flake on hand that's not going to any good use. Do you think it'd be possible to use the frosty flake? And with the v2, would there be any point?

I think not, due to the fact each board will have different resistors for their LEDs, you should ask the author
