You can get those, and wireless for under $40 shipped on eBay.

Actually they are pretty much the same, but not the same layouts. The wireless eBay ones are more compact.

I was going to say the same thing, but you beat me to it.  Now we need a bamboo mechanical.   Might as well make it ergonomic while we are at it.

This 75% needs to live on my coffee table and control my tv/raspi/media center/etc. 

It would fit right in with my wood, well, everything...
