Hi there,
I normally reside in Denmark, but want to order a HHKB from EK to an Illinois address on a conference stay, which is only until saturday morning.
EK offer two-day shipping, which on paper should be enough, assuming they handle the order fairly quickly.
Since I have no experience with EK or US domestic shipping, I'm looking for some advice on whether this is a good idea:
1. Does EK usually handle orders the day or at least the day after they are placed?
2. Are the 1-2 days reliable (I'm guessing this is the USPS, it doesn't say in my order)?
3. What happens if the package isn't received/picked up? Does it get returned for a refund?
I might be paranoid, but I wouldn't want to gamble a 400$ keyboard ;-)
Cheers

EK normally has a day or two of processing. I suggest calling and speaking with them, explain your situation and I'm sure they will work with you and help you the best they can.

Order it before hand so there is plenty of time in case of shipping delays. Let your receiving address know you will be expecting a delivery so they will keep it for you to pick up when you arrive. I know a lot of lodgings are used to these kinds of things and don't mind offering these kinds of services to their guests. I used to do things like that quite a lot when I traveled for my photography gigs to get replacement equipment and things like that.
