Title: Kensington SlimBlade and Cat Hair

Has anyone got both a cat (as in feline pet) and a Kensington SlimBlade?

It seems the SlimBlade is a real magnet for cat hair and would draw to it any hair around the house.  I don't even let the (two) cats in my 'lab' but i have to remove the ball and clean out the cat hair from the points at least 3 times a day.  Cat hair doesn't seen to settle anywhere else.
