I just wanted to say that I like this solution and I find it quite clever.

Regarding the items, could you take another picture of the 1501HAD? The F key looks weird and I am curious what you meant by packing tape. At first I assumed it was just the box, but for example the legend on the F key looks almost non-existent. I think it is just the photo, but I just want to be sure.

did you look at the high res image (link below), it's the reflection from light/flash, (only) the box has two stripes of tape on it, and some marks
will add more images today, when i have more time

I don't think it's a great idea to keep changing the rules of your auction, but you should look at the auction metalliqaz ran over here (http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=53398.0).

One recent auction any bid extended the auction for 8 hours.

8h would be too much for my taste (neverending auction), i think 5-10 minutes should give enough time to react
what about, prolongs 10 minutes, has to be 5eur higher than highest bid,
that would pretty much make sniping useless^^

The point of the 8h is to avoid favoring a certain time zone. If you're just trying to avoid sniping though, I'd guess that 5-10 minutes would be fine.
