When I go to Tokyo, I'm going to look around Akihibara for electronics stores to find keyboards. This ripster guide (http://imgur.com/a/LJQyP#0) might be handy too.

There are way more interesting things to do in Jpan than keyboards.

+1

Besides, you can always use tenso.com as a proxy to ship it to you.

doh who said It's just to buy keyboards xD

How wonder how is that Tenso working? I mean they woul ship it from japan to Tenso, then Tenso ships it to me?

Btw if I were, in fact I will. 10th Anniversary for sure can be afford from one of these shops then? it's not something too old or something like that which can only be afford online right?

I look forward to your OTHER thread about Jpan...

We already know more than enough about keyboards @ GH.

Here is a rather old guide on reddit for getting HHKB from Japan via proxy/forwarding service. If you think about it, the same method could be applied for anything that is only shipped within Japan: [Guide] Bought my HHKB Pro 2 from amazon.co.jp : MechanicalKeyboards (http://en.reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyboards/comments/18387i/guide_bought_my_hhkb_pro_2_from_amazoncojp/)

Now, you just need to find if there are any retailers that would sell the 10th Anniversary Realforce online. kakaku.com may tell you for instance: http://kakaku.com/search_results/ND31BS/ (Japanese only).  You can arrange the list from cheapest to expensive via clicking on the words "価格の安い順"

Also I think tenso.com is a heavily recommended forwarding service. I recall rakuten.co.jp having tenso.com (ad?) banner for shipping services outside Japan.

I've lived in Tokyo for several years, but I still always head to Akihabara to buy gear on visits, without question!

kakaku.com shows DOS PARA has that 10th anniversary model in stock and ships in Tokyo within 24 hours.  If I were you, I would talk to the staff at the hotel you are staying in and ask them to help you send it directly to the hotel.  If they are helpful, they can take your cash, help you 振込 (furikomi) or direct-transfer the payment at an ATM or a convenience store for a few bucks.

Another alternative is to have the staff give the company a call at:

DOS PARA
TEL:0570-028-120 (PHS・IP電話からは03-4332-9194)
FAX:0467-79-8231
電話受付時間 (telephone hours)
平日:9:00-21:00 (weekdays)
土日祝:10:00-18:00 (weekends)

and find out if you can go down to the Akihabara store directly and buy/pickup the keyboard (use google maps to find the store).  Be sure to bring a print-out of that kakaku.com page so they know exactly what model you want.

imho, kind-of-nutty to use a proxy when you are actually there, but then again, being able to speak some Japanese would help even though most hotels which cater to foreigners will be able to help you in English - gl
