Title: Steelseries sensei common issues
Post by: Ghetto Caps on Thu, 23 January 2014, 21:33:04
Hmm so ive been using my sensei for like 7 months playing star-craft/crossfire for a good 2 hours a day, recently it keeps getting disconnected and i wait like 10 minutes then it starts working.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Not sure if this is a Sensei-specific issue, but as with all mice that randomly disconnect I would suggest opening it to check if the USB cable is properly attached inside. Of course, that will probably void warranty and stuff, so if you want to RMA it you should probably just do that right away instead of poking inside it.

I haven't had this issue with mine, but I have another issue whereby whenever I do a firmware update, every single goddamned time, it will fail part way through and requires me to disconnect/reconnect the mouse and start again.

When it happened the first time, I just thought it was a fluke. but then it did it the second time there was new firmware. and the third. and the fourth.
