I tried the search, but couldn't find any info on this keyboard
Fujitsu FKB4700
What types of switches(if any)? and any other info greatly appreciated.

It looks like the FKB4720 have similar switches:

Thanks Chloe!
Can you read Japanese?

I know I can't, but the pictures sure are pretty. :)

even without the horrendously botched paint job, it's not worth $60.

Defintely. Recycled Goods is very proud of what they sell. You can usually find anything they sell (keyboard-wise, anyway) for about a third or less of what they are charging. Vintage Computer Hardware (or whatever they're called) is the same way.

I do believe I'll be listing an FKB4725-501 (same thing, basically, except with Windows keys and PS/2) with a missing F11 keycap, but otherwise works perfectly, on eBay soon.
Let's just say I'll be undercutting all these idiots that are too busy huffing paint thinner. ;)

Dude, you really laid out for that one. Did you have to sell your DataHand or TouchStream first? I guess you won't be buying any more keyboards for the rest of the year. :)
-
Yeah, I'm keeping my FKB4725 because nobody will touch it with a 10-foot pole. :p
-
Yeah, I realized with how little interest there was, I wouldn't even be able to make my money back, so I decided to forget it. :)
It's a PS/2 board, so if there's some crappy system I never use or something, it can have its own board.

I was so impressed by the reviews of this keyboard on geekhack, that I decided to splash out and spend EUR 2.75 on this rebranded FKB4700.
€2.75 sounds extremely cheap, like the cost of a loaf of bread or a pack of cigarettes.
or has the dollar really fallen that badly against the euro?

cool.
stuff in the US seems to be either free (if you're in the right place at the right time), or matches ebay prices.
