Does anybody know what flavour of Cherry? It looks awesome except for the fact it's prolly not N-key rollover but PS/2 at least...

I visited the DSI booth at MacWorld this year where they had the replacement for the SMK 101 finacial keyboard: DCK 101. It looks just like the SMK only it has the USB+PS/2 interface. The Blue Stem Cherry Mechanical Keyswitches have a nice feel as well.

I just replaced the SMK 101 I purchased for my sister 5 years ago and she loves the new version DCK 101; having the numeric on the bottom and alpha on the top is perfect for her applications.Time is money and this Keyboard for an accountant is worth every penny.

Title: Compact Boards

I didn't really see any compact boards that caught my eye.  I think logitech, or one of those guys, had some media boards that had speakers, and a gaming board that had a small monitor on it that displays your stats while you play.  I don't know about those though, cause I'm not even looking at my board when I play.

Most of the booths at Macworld were selling cases though, or some kind of new Mac software.  I don't know if you went or not, but if you got to try out the keyboards at the DSI booth, it felt exactly like those old IBM boards.  The contact and feedback felt solid, I didn't think I would be able to find anyone selling those kind of boards anymore.

I was looking through notestation.com though, and I saw this Ergonomic Wireless Keyboard that looks sweet.  If you take a look at the picture, its looks really thin, I bet you could use it as a frisbee.  Its compact, but it has a touchpad on it. I don't think its Mechanical though, cause it looks really thin. Here's the link:

you're prolly thinking of cherry blue switches; from what I heard last from DSI, they're moving to an all-cherry shop.

the wireless board looks nice, the detailed specs link tho says its membrane switches. doesnt mean it might not be halfway decent.

So what switches are in DCK-101  ? Are they MX Blues?

"Features an interchangeable top/bottom layout, ideal for financial and banking applications.  "

Looking at the photos, I cant see how the boards could be interchangeable... (?)
