Title: How to correctly disassemble the FC660M?
Post by: kinghajj on Sat, 25 January 2014, 18:09:13
I have an FC660M with Clears that I bought in August, and I'd like to open it and make them Ergo-Clears with some springs from an old Das II board I have. The problem is I have no idea how I'm supposed to get this thing open without damaging it! I see on the back that there are eight tabs to push out, which would let me remove the top case, but I can't figure out how to keep one tab open while opening another. Plus, the tools I've tried to push them open have left dents/scratches on the bottom, and I'd like to avoid doing any more of that. Does anyone here have any experience getting one of these guys apart?
