I think it's a black with the stem of a brown but I could be wrong...

A more higher tension brown so a mix of brown and black.
So probably more similar to a topre in force throughout the keystroke

Wait, I thought a red was a black with the spring of a brown.

A black with the stem of a brown would be a clear, IIRC.

no the red has steeper stem than the brown but still has that chink to make it feel tactile. I have tried using my black springs with brown stems and I tell you it was far too stiff.

Yep linear not tactile, my mistake mixed white with red which are pretty rare for both
