Title: Where to get Attack on Titan mangas?
Post by: tbc on Tue, 28 January 2014, 05:08:03
I've finished watching the anime a while back and i really don't want to wait another year or two for the next season.

can someone recommend me a place to get digital downloads for the manga and some reasonable prices for them?  i've never ever bought a comic/manga before, so i really don't know what they cost.

thanks.

Note: standard disclaimer: please no 'just torrent it'; i prefer to buy things and i don't care in the slightest whether or not what you do or think on this subject (10 years of my life on-and-off spent(and wasted) on this debate - no more please).  i've also heard every variation on why i'm an idiot, so if you're going to call me an idiot, please be creative about it.

Are there even official digital versions of manga?

I know you want to buy it, but so far I've really only seen third party scans when it comes to digital.
Physical would probably be easier to get a hold of.

Check the hompages of the english distributors if they offer digital versions.

Did a quick search, there is at least a Kindle version:

thanks for the replies guys.

seems like amazon is the only real place for it for canada.  is the price fairly fair?  eg does 200 pages usually cost that much?

EDIT:

that's just great....they don't even have the whole series -_-

digital media distribution...so easy, yet so bad - especially in canada -_-

Sounds like a normal price.

I'm not familiar with this manga but  Amazon has 1-11 of the main series (12 coming in march), the rest also seems to be released in English soon.

Honestly, if you want manga cheaper you gotta do illegal ****. If you are not in Japan, you will not get the best prices nor the best release dates. Otherwise, wait till it is all over, then order everything from wherever you can(probably Amazon).
