This board has been reconditioned, which includes:
Thorough cleaning of all components - keys, key caps, case, barrel plate and housing.
The steel barrel plate has been coated with CorrosionX for long term protection against corrosion.
Replacement of all plastic rivets with stainless steel machine screws.
Labels have been laminated for preservation.

That is a nice clean one, at a reasonable price too!

That's a great looking board. Especially since several non-modded SSKs have gone for the same price recently. Seems like a fair price to me. I'd be curious to know if the seller is a member here or on Deskthority.

They sold another SSK for $250 a while ago (actually back in 2012).

I've seen a thread about that board. Forgot if it was on dt or gh.
This is his webpage: http://phosphorglow.net

Pretty sure the user is both on GH (http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=43245.msg1206339#msg1206339) and DT (http://deskthority.net/photos-videos-f8/reconditioned-model-m-s-t7330.html). Replied in the Indy meetup thread and seller location is Indy.

That is a good seller, very enthusiastic about Model M's, and you should definitely view his website.

Personally, I would have listed this as an auction and maximized the profit. But to each their own. It should sell, and I am surprised that it has not sold at the time I am writing this.

Well this is cool that my board ended up here. :P
So all in all, a fair price then? One of my biggest concerns is that my boards go to good homes so I'm not out to price gouge despite the work I put into them.
I'm not a huge fan of selling on eBay (high fees, scammers, etc.) but luckily so far they've gone to appreciative buyers.
I have more boards and I've got a store set up on my website but I didn't want to be rude as a newbie to GH and start posting in the classifieds right away.

Considering the prices they've been going for recently, and the effort you clearly put into reconditioning your boards, I'd say your prices are perfectly fair :thumb:
If I were in the market for an SSK, I'd be picking one up off of your store right now.

Seems like a lot of SSKs have been up for sale recently. Maybe the listings just get more publicity here now?
