Hello everyone,

I just registered here. I got into keyboards recently and bought a corsair k60 (my first mechanical keyboard) and I use freestyle2 at work (by Kinesis). I am a software developer.

I was looking at the massdrop for Ergodox going on and trying to decide if I should get it or not. Figured this would be a good place to gather more information about it. It seem they take about 3 months to deliver the keyboard and it won't be backlit. So still debating.

Do you guys think I should wait for them to do a backlit GB for Ergodox? Or, should I just go for this one?

You'll might end up waiting forever for them to come out with something that they haven't announced yet imho, can always upgrade later

back lights are useless
you should try blues or browns or try Cup Rubber

I love my k60 with red keys but I have been meaning to try out the browns. I tried blues and didn't like them that much. I think k60 also has DCS keys but I don't know how they will fare on ergodox
