What a lucky lunar new year day! I picked up a very heavy keyboard on the street. Weighted about 2kg
There is no logo on the front and the layout is similar to model F with stepped modifier keys
Look at that spacebar, it must be 10x or even more!!
This babe seems to be ALPS switches some sort of spring based switches (anyone know?). And they keycap font is superb with no sign of tear or wear.
The cable seems to be AT (right?) and case stand are truly metal. Back case is in black color with stickers, 1 is Keytronic (probably the manufacturer) and other is Quanta. There is also small sticker indicates this was painted in 1985, if this were true, this babe is so old.
I could not find much info about this keyboard on the net, maybe some GHers could help me here?
And I have to find the AT converter to get it working with my Mac. Excited to see how many keys are still working.

I've got a board or two with those switches but I'm not sure what they are called. I was thinking of trying the springs under topre caps to get more resistance.

Should be rubberdomes under the slider, right? Pretty sure I've seen them before.

It's a Key Tronic Model F XT clone.
They are foam and foil capacitive switches, and linear ones in your case.
Apparently it was created for Columbia Data Products, but I consider this to be doubtful:

This is the Model F AT clone version, with the tactile version of the switches:

Thanks for the info

By the way, great serial number on that! And a label indicating when it was painted? Weird.
The FCC ID was registered in 1982, by the way.
