Title: Typing speed on your mobile?!

Hi All,

Been away from the forum for quite a few months now :( just been so busy with life and work but anywho:

I was bored on the train home and I was surfing the web (as you do) and I noticed that I had got pretty quick at typing on my phone. So I loaded up typeracer.com and was astonished when I realised I was getting ~55wpm. Unless I'm really going for it this is nearly the speed of me typing on one of my beloved keyboards (I'm not very quick) :P

So I was wondering how does everybody else's phone typing speed compare? :)

I don't type on my 7G mobile. That would be preposterous. The seven letters are for looking at. They hang nicely in the window.

How can you surf if you are caught in a web? And what kind of train has a swimming pool large enough to surf in? I would love to ride that train.

I did it once a couple months ago and got 53. If I tried a few times in a row or hard Id proably get way higher. :) I was just messing around.

I have a thread on this, I got somewhere in the 50s on my iPhone 5. I think it might have been in the 60s, I'll go check.

Lol... It's an amazing feat to overcome... To be faster on my phone than my board... but I really do feel faster on my board after every few days I'll feel slightly faster.

I absolutely hate typing on a mobile device. Currently on the iPhone I can barely type a word or two without a typo...

Autocorrect is easy to get around though, grab your phone my the sides and make it your b***h!
