Hello, and welcome to the first ever giveaway/donation drive by D-Squad, sponsored some of the Vendors of GeekHack!

I would like to thank these vendors very much for their financial support, and you should definitely go check out their stuff :thumb:

I will be giving away packs of MX Magnets which are a fun little thing you can use to stick keycaps to metal surfaces. These are all made by me of an MY stem, a magnet, and some epoxy. By my calculations these things are capable of holding 300g+ of keycap, which is more than enough for even the Gold BroBot (heaviest cap I have on hand).

Onto the giveaway part, this is how it's going to work, I plan on making ~200 of these and giving out probably 150 or so in packs of 5. There are 2 ways to get a pack, the first way to get guaranteed a pack is to donate a minimum of $5 to geekhack, I'm limiting this to the first 20 people who do it, so it's very much first come, first serve (limit one pack per person/donation). The second way to get a pack is to just simply post below and I'll randomly draw a few winners with the magnets left over after the donation giveaway. I'll let this run for around a week or so before pulling some winners.

That's about all I got for now, once again I'd very much like to thank the vendors who, with their support, are making this project possible for myself and everyone who receives a pack of these.

Your magnets were shipped out with the rest, it's not my fault USPS is taking their sweet ass time with it. I told you in a PM, I have personally had domestic packages shipped first class take upwards of 2 months. Just cut your loses and run, stop trying to skirt around the issue like it's my fault and I intentionally did this to smite you.

Sorry that I don't have time in my 60+ hour week to work on free projects for people every week.

any chance you might be able to pull up his address from your e-shipping history?  i'd be really surprised if there wasn't info.

USPS provides e-ship first class with free tracking.

I tried that. There was no tracking for his order, I think because it was only a 1 oz package.

Mine came in today. The tracking sticker shows that it arrived in Canada on Feb 23, but Canada post decided not to deliver mail to my place for 3 days  :(
2 out of 10 magnets ended up coming off the MY stems. No biggie though, superglue works wonders.  :)

Well technically I donated and vendors supported it so it cost someone something and how exactly was my post complaining? I simply stated a fact and seeing how the organizer clearly has said he hates me, well then why would he send me something.

Maybe he would send you something because you followed the rules of the thread and he's an upstanding guy who follows his own morals, regardless of how he feels about a person in particular. Maybe you should just brush it off, because he can't handle your "awesomeness".

I did a long time ago, I was just sharing with my friend rowdy that I'm going to hook him up with some magnets since he missed this.
