I am trying to instal the same thing and is not working for me :( I will try to re-instal the sound card again just to make sure (for 3rd time) that it is instaled ok.

I have the same card on a win 7 setup.. works fine..

I used these drivers below..

Mine is moded with lm4652 opamps, and the muting transistors removed..

Without those mods the card doesn't sound very good at all...  it's only slightly better than modern onboard sound, with a slightly better noise floor..

the only creative card that "sounds good" out of the box is the "titanium HD".. because it was designed from the grounds up with fidelity in mind...

If you look at the 2 zs, the base xfi, they all use regular caps where bipolar caps are required..

and instead of using say prop-film caps, they used can-caps to reduce cost...

The mod is "night and day"... it's not some BS audiophile gimmick that costs $500..

It's a $10 mod where even a NOVICE can tell the difference.

oh.. also remember the audigy 2 zs can't resample from 44100 very well, so always use software to resample to 48000 before output stage.

movies will be fine since it's always 48

Well, if you're impressed with it "already"... then you will be even more impressed once you've done the opamp mod.
