I understand mechanical keyboards take a while to wear out, and I currently have a Ducky Shine 3. So please don't post how "Mechanical keyboards last the test of time".
That said, if you've experienced wear on your mechanical keyboard please share your stories below including how long you had it for/b], how aggressive were you, how long you used it for daily, and any other important information.

Only keycaps so far on a Leopold TKL Otaku. They became shiny and smooth within 2-3 months of light to moderate typing. Other than that the keyboard is still the same as when I bought it.

very very few keyboards will last 20 years without some sort of repair..
The reason.. dust, and production tolerances...

Caps will get shiny on my shine after 3 months. Thanks to it being so slippery I can clean them easily.
My K90 on reds is now in its box and is 3 years old. No wear on the key switches or caps.
