Title: Why isn't my Phantom working?

So, my Phantom is soldered up and works perfectly when plugged directly into my PC through USB.

However, when I add a breakout board to the equation it doesn't work.

I've tried 2 breakout boards, multiple cables, I've made sure my solder joints are perfect and still no luck. Any ideas what on earth could be causing this?

Well if it works fine without the breakout, and doesn't with it, I'd say that it is to blame. if it had been a more complex addition, then one could argue that the Phantom isn't compatible with it and it is the Phantom's fault. In this case, the breakout shouldn't really do anything and the Phantom can't be incompatible with it.

Regarding the "doesn't work" statement, does the teensy light up at all? Do you get any sort of response whatsoever?

The breakout board is just electrical connections from the USB cable, through the traces on the PCB, to the cable stub, into the Teensy. The only thing it could be is a wrong path from pin-to-pin on the USB.

That was odd. I've tried a bunch of pinouts on a few different cables. I left it plugged in for 10 minutes, and then it suddenly works with no changes made. Very weird :/

Thanks for the suggestions. I guess I won't need them anymore though :))
