Title: eBay GeekFang Aluminum Space Bar is too loose, won't fit - Help!

Hey you guys,

Just got the new aluminum space bar from GeekFang.  Unfortunately, the bar is just way too loose.  It looks like the stems are cut too wide or something.  I'm trying to fit this on a KB 60.

Any tips?

use plastic wrap as shims

Take a plastic bag, cut small squares, and use them to fill some of the space.

Use pliers and very gently push the stem parts closer together a very small amount.  Do this gradually in steps until the spacebar fits more tightly.
