So first off, I don't even know if this type of board exists, but I hate how the number row is offset from the stagger of the letters. I like to move all the letters up a row, but this prevents me from doing so. Are any boards like this? My ideal board would be an japanese hhkb pro except without this offset. I think I'm probably the only one annoyed by this. I might rather have something like an ErgoT or a vertically staggered keyboard, but I'm curious to know if there are actually keyboards with this design. I couldn't find any from looking.

i'm asking if there are normally horizontally staggered boards where the number row is not offset. As for the ergodox, unless they started another drop, the other one ended.

I swore I saw something about another egdx uprising, but I'm not 100% sure. tp4tissue would know about it.

you mean matrix(like hummble hacker,TM2030.etc) but i prefer symm sgg good choice :)

No, I'm just talking about how number row is offset from the rest of the stagger on a standard board (as in more left). A matrix board would fix it too (and they definitely exist unlike what I'm talking about which may or may not.. ), but I haven't been able to find any compact matrix boards that I like the design of. I especially don't like typematrix. I like to have as small a spacebar as possible.
What does symm sgg mean? symmetrically staggered?

So you want every row to have a .25 offset? I guess it wouldn't be too difficult to adapt the GH60 PCB file to do this. Would need to make the first key in top row 1.25, shift everything over .25 right and use a 1.75 backspace. Shift row would need to start with 2 unit and shift everything .25 left then also right shift 2 unit plus an extra key.

Exactly. If I could also turn it into a japanese layout on the bottom, it would be perfect. Where do people get custom PCBs made? I assume it's pretty expensive.

I love that keyboard layout (well, I would have to do something with the Japanese, since I am not fluent in that).
HOWEVER, if the price (in yen) is accurate on my brief Google search, I would rather get an ErgoDox. :)

I see PCBwing mentioned many times. Perhaps some other people would be interested in that too? Maybe if you got 10-20 people it might make the per PCB cost more reasonable.

Looks evenly staggered. Actually looks like the perfect design except for the trackpoint. Though I'd shift the right hand over two keys so it might not be a problem.

W is directly in line with z, for example - normally it would be more to the right

Are you opposed to doing it yourself? If not, make yourself the perfect plate in some CAD software, get it made somewhere, and wire the switches up to a teensy yourself.
