I'm purchasing a 1.5x ANSI GH60, and I'd like a keycap set to match it. In particular, I'm looking for a 1.5x modifier set in blank grey, preferably PBT. As far as I've checked, the only place is WASDkeyboards (http://www.wasdkeyboards.com/index.php/products/blank-keycap-singles/row-3-size-1x1-50-cherry-mx-keycap.html#ad-image-1), which sells ABS only. Banggoods (http://www.banggood.com/84-White-Blank-Set-PBT-Key-Caps-For-Cherry-MX-Switch-p-83642.html) sells a good/cheap PBT keycap set which I'd like to use for the alphanumeric keys, but having a modifier ABS set with PBT alphanumeric seems.. like a bad idea.
Worst case scenario, I'll simply go ABS: not buy the Banggoods set, buy the 87 keycap set off WASDkeyboards, and a couple of these 1.5 singles. What about the 7x spacebar though? (preferably everything is the same material, i.e., all ABS, all PBT, etc.)

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I don't think anyone is making 7x PBT space bars yet due to warping issues even at the 6.25 size.

Basically if you want to use those size in PBT you need to either be looking at BSP/Cherry sets or Signature Plastics. The PBT 7x spacebar is going to be a problem unless you source a vintage Cherry set. Here is a cheaper lasered set in Cherry PBT (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Cherry-104-Key-Compact-Keyboard-PS-2-MY-1800-G81-1800LPAUS-04-/380835393935?pt=PCA_Mice_Trackballs&hash=item58ab8ef18f) for example.

Thanks for the advice. Do most people with 1.5x keyboards with PBT keycaps end up using a different material for their spacebar then?
-
More than likely unless they sourced one of vintage Cherry all PBT set. Other availability is pretty much non existent. Current PBT MX keycap manufacturer either don't have 7x spacebar size or don't even make spacebar at all.

Okay, thanks. I guess I'll have to wait until more options pop up. Wouldn't make sense to buy a partial set now and commit myself to something that possibly won't be uniform with the spacebar or modifier set in the future.

You can always do what I did and simply stick to only Cherry profile keycaps. Then all you have to worry about is color matchings.
