Title: Another restored Model M SSK...!

Another one rescued and some more purdy pictures. Pretty certain this got coffee spilled on it a long time ago and then was forgotten about.

(ALso, I had to look up QFT. I really enjoy "Quadratic Frobenius" and my personal favorite, Quantum Field Theory. Heheheheh.)

Looks good. Does that steel plate rust often? If so, wouldn't it be a good idea to clear coat it or something. It shouldn't be difficult at all.

Amazing. Kind of makes me want to get a terrible condition model M myself.. :))

It's been coated with "the only product available to the public that meets the US Navy's tough new corrosion prevention and control performance requirement", CorrosionX (http://www.corrosionx.com/corrosionx.html). Incredible stuff. :D

I do paint the plate if it's really bad or I just feel like it, but there's really just something awesome looking about bare steel.
