I signed up for the January 29 group buy for the Ergodox. Mx clears and stock keycaps.
If anyone is interested, I'll try to contact someone in charge at mass drop and ask them if its possible for someone to take my place. Total price was $244.00

This is for the clear acrylic case or aluminum tops? Full hand or classic?
I've been eagerly waiting for the next drop of the ergodox, so I may be interested in taking your spot, especially if MassDrop will handle it.

Here you go, sorry for the late reply, as I had GH blocked so that I could do some studying.
Also I contacted them through Email, so hopefully I'll get a response by Monday. I dont think it should be problem, money is money. :) I doubt they care where it comes from as long as they maintain the amount of promised orders.

What color are the keycaps? I'm trying to find a product page for them, but haven't yet found one.

I'll have to think about it. I was pretty keen on getting a full hand model. Also gotta confirm with the wife that it'll fit the budget. I'll try to get back to you about it this evening.

I'm really new to mechanical keyboards, otherwise I could probably figure this out myself. What do i need to look for in order to get alternative keycaps for the ErgoDox? In particular, I'd want to get non-blank keycaps for the function keys and modifier keys (ctrl, alt, shift, etc).

So I guess you can ask for 1x1 dimension CTRL, ALT, HOME, END, PG UP, PG DWN then a 2x1(vertical) Backspace, Delete, Enter then the 1x1.25 mods that are left near the top. That should be enough for just the modifiers.

This group buy also might have the modifiers that you'll need http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=54039.0 But you'll end up with extras and you'll still be missing a bunch. TBH if that signature plastics site cant get you the correct modifiers(They might not stock them) it might be a pain in the ass to get what you need. I'm not sure if the signature plastic site does custom legends on their Keycaps. Perhaps someone can chime in.

Exactly. I havent deal with them so I'm not sure if they will custom print on their keycaps but if they do then it shouldnt be any trouble

Also I havent confirmed with massdrop yet as I just emailed them last night. They should respond by tomorow(Monday), assuming that they go to work for presidents day. If not then Tuesday.
