Title: Titanfall - let's play! United we suck together

Geekhackers that got into the Titanfall beta, want to play together for some laughs?

I also love how you can't limit your download speed for this program.

Not that I'm complaining, but I have no idea how Origin can achieve these download speeds.

So how do you guys like this game so far?

This doesn't look a typical source game.

Considering the amount of browning, this game isn't well optimized yet. Hopefully drivers will fix that

Did do the training bit before I checked temps though(poor gpu), game seems fun enough. Will most likely pick it up when it's released as long as the gpu thing gets resolved.

All around less stressful and more fun than cod, coming from me who got every cod game on launch and was really good at them(~3kd overall with messing around and usual kd of 10-20+ when I tried :P).The only reason I play cod anymore is for prop hunt on COD4.

Hopefully it doesn't get boring fast, I just want GTA5 to come to PC already..

The only bad part to this game after my 7 hours of play time seems to be that it is really hard to tell AI from pilots except for when they are doing wall running or anything like that. So I get used to killing the terrible AI people and then get demolished the second I run into a real person, not knowing they aren't AI.

Yes that would be really good, such as choosing were the grunts drop and what objectives they go for :D

Post by: tricheboars on Tue, 18 February 2014, 12:19:41: leveling in the beta is probably way faster than it will be in the final release. often betas give an accelerated leveling system to give players a feel for the progression.

i see a lot of room for tactical strategy with close knit teams like you might see in a MOBA in titanfall. this game has the potential to be a fantastic esport.

i have max leveled my beta profile in titanfall and i am loving it. this is going to be a day one purchase for me. i dont see myself getting bored anytime soon. i find this much more fun and engaging than bf4.

I wonder if they will let you use more than just the atlas body for the game mode when the full game is released, I guess they would but I wonder how that will change how the game mode plays.

Hawken is fun, although it can get boring fast since there aren't many rewards for leveling up. Most of the players are terrible and teamwork is key.

Still fun though.

My brother and I were thinking about that, but can't really figure out what the design should be. Only thing I can think of is the stylized A in the name but that is about it.

Yeah, release is solid, only issue is that it still doesn't support SLi.

However, it doesn't have very high reqs so disabling one card until SLi support is added shouldn't be a problem, only ones who should be wary are those with multi-gpu cards.

Still too expensive for me. I didn't buy Skyrim until I found it for $10.
