So I ordered another set of RGB keys from unicomp, and see if you can figure out what's unusual with this shift key:

It looks like the molds are not static then. By the way, this is not meant to deride Unicomp's quality or support-- Unicomp makes great products, and I never had any issues with their quality. The support is also awesome.
They're a great company catering to a small and unique market. I just wanted to show that funky shift key because it's neat.

HoffmanMyster got the same thing when he ordered a few weeks ago, it should fit the enter key, which isn't right.....

Okay-- I wonder if they do have static molds, one for the shift key, and one for the enter key-- and some accidental enter keys were molded instead.

I'm not really sure...
Since IBMs have uniform profiles, the same size mold could be used and just switching out what side get what to determine if it's a shift or enter.

I'm sure there is some keyboard that would fit on. I for one, have an F XT and some really weird shift spacings.

Unicomp replaced a new keyboard I ordered that didn't work properly. The company's customer service was exceptional.
Kudos to Unicomp. But that's one strangely molded key cap.
