Title: Weirdest KB/caps
Post by: ianxblog on Mon, 17 February 2014, 19:46:42
I found this on sale.

It has the most awful keycaps (At least aesthetically) I've ever seen.

It's a terminal keyboard. If some keyboard guru knows what it is, please tell us :thumb:

The owner said that there's absolutely no info. Maybe removed, I believe.

The keycap profile and the connector reminds me of Hewlett Packard. The connector looks like that of  HP's "HIL" protocol, but also of IBM's SDL.
I had a HP/HIL keyboard that I sold last week. Only the numeric keypad has "island keys", the others were sculpted, but with spherical face.

Tab is as important as "enter" (or "field exit" or whatever they called the key that's there) for many terminals and the programs that run in them.
