Brown

Interesting. I don't think I could ever deal with a mixed switch board. My hands would constantly be telling my brain "something ain't right here"

I can barely manage the linear caps lock on the 1087.
To each their own, I guess.

mechanicalkeyboards.com has a few Ducky models with mixed switches. Blue/red, blue/brown, blue/black.

Never tried a hybrid keyboard so I don't know.

If you hit enter with your pinky it might be a little rough to put a clear on enter.

Good point.
On the other side, you could get used and by it being stiffer don't press enter accidently.
You don't wanna press enter accidently.

What's the rationale behind the design choices?
For example, why would I want the upper navigation cluster to be tactile, but the arrow keys to be linear?
It seems a very odd design to me.

I think because you want a tactile feedback when you delete or go up, but you want no trouble when pressing arrows fast.
It's just a design.

Probably, but I wouldn't mind trying.
