Don't screw around if you want the thing. After getting multiple offers he will be less and less likely to accept them.

I'll put in a $10 offer to get the ball rolling. Just kidding.

Asking price definitely doesn't look worth it. Why should something cost as much as an F AT when the switches are vastly inferior? And not to mention the yellowing - it's clearly not of a quality comparable to the F AT even if the layout has similarities.

some people prefer blue alps to buckling spring. The switches are not inherently inferior, so it's up to the subjectivity of the buyer. B'sides, its less common than the at model F KB, so people that already have one might be interested.

I would look at this as a donor board with a lot of goodies, although the AT switch does make it marginally "useable"

80+ blue Alps switches in a baggie is a valuable commodity, and those keys are likely doubleshots that could be Retr0-brited.

The spacebar switch on these keyboards are oddly placed (far right-hand side of the keyboard) which makes the spacebar feel almost linear.  The spacebar switch is a blue ALPs switch, but it's placement causes a linear feel.

I find that far off placements of spacebar switches usually adversely change the feel unless they are backed by very low-torsion stabilizers.
