Title: Buyers Guide

I started collecting some ideas for a Buyers Guide (http://geekhack.org/showthread.php?t=1763) to direct the increasing number of newbies to, that just want to know what they should buy as their first board.  I know how it feels when you're looking for buying advice in an area you don't have any expertise yet, and either have to study hundreds of postings or have to ask stupid questions.

Feel free to add, modify, delete or ignore it.  It's a wiki :)

This is a very good idea, though I'm still not sure how much I can assist, at this point.  I'm still learning a lot.

This is good. You can add what you've already learned.  Then you could tell us what questions are still open.  For example I totally forgot about n-key rollover...
