Title: Want to commission someone for a PCB (20 minute job probably)
Post by: Melvang on Wed, 05 March 2014, 23:54:13
Alright guys I have tried my hand at KiCad a couple times and I just can't seem to grasp that program, or should I say programs?

I would like to commission someone to design a pcb for me but I want to keep the actual subject matter of the design secret until I release the design to open source.  Don't worry proper credit will be given.  Please PM me if you would be willing to help.

I am also willing to compensate for time spent as well.

Since I am learning KiCAD< this would be an excellent experience, and I d have some idea of what you want, so I can do this, for FREE :D

I can do it for you in EAGLE if you want (and if it's small enough to fit in the EAGLE free version limits: 10cm x 8cm x 2layers IIRC).

Yeah I tried following you tutorial from your github Regak.  But I got stumpped on slide 19.  After generating the netlist and going to annotate the stuff.  When the parts list comes up, the right side of the window looks nothing like yours.  None of the parts you have listed on the right side are on mine.  I am sure this is just me not getting the lib files and such in the right place but I am a total ID 10 T on the software side.

Yes it will fit.  And PM sent to both of you guys Moz and doub.
