thanks for posting this :thumb:, my local GS has a few left, swing by there and swoop a copy to avoid this shipping charge. I'd imagine we'll start to see more D3 sales since the exp. is right around the corner.

Ironically the Collector's Edition I kept wrapped went up in price on ebay. -.-. Diablo 3 stand-a-lone was a failure though, hopefully the new one isn't too bad

I have played D3 on both PC and PS3. Granted I played on PC at a very early stage and was very late when I finally picked it up for PS3, but the console version I think actually plays better mechanics wise due to the control scheme.

People are saying its a lot improved now that they've made several changes. Apparently beyond the big fixes, they also removed a lot of the little annoyances that deterred casual gameplay of the storyline (Nephalem Valor, Purple Story Mobs not dropping worthwhile loot etc).

Looks like Blizz finally dropped it's price as well: https://us.battle.net/shop/en/product/diablo-iii (https://us.battle.net/shop/en/product/diablo-iii)

i discarded a rather lengthy and somewhat off topic comment i began composing here, earlier today, about how i had been playing Path of Exile, and the incessant "PoE>D3" comments made me want to finally try it, since i've always heard about the diablo series, and never played it... so i tried the demo, found it startlingly similar to torchlight 2 (minus character models), neither of which i would call quite "similar" to PoE... which resulted in a greater appreciation for PoE, but a newfound (i stand by my combining of those two words into a single compound word) desire to play D3. Weird, right?
but i didn't want to give Gamestop my money. I dislike them, even more than gamefly. Plus, i sometimes have trouble remembering which is which (game"stop" or game"spot"... stop is the store, spot is the review site...)

And there it is. Seems like i waited forever for HotS to hit $20.
Lucky me, merely a day after completing one run of the D3 demo, blizzard drops a deal. Tanfastic. Now to find that RoS deal... or wait 'til next year. lol.
