I had put the game down for a long time. I have to admit though, "loot 2.0" has improved alot of things. Level progression feels great, you actually find upgrades, along with many other nice changes. The new legendaries actually have synnergy with different builds and are pretty nasty. I like how you only need to play the campaign one time through to access all other difficulties. Currently I have a hard core Monk, paragon 24; and a Soft core wizard paragon 56.
I like that the AH is going down, BUT.... I dont like the account bound legendary thing. One of my favorite parts of Diablo II was the trading, and now Diablo III may end up without that sense of community. Hopefully the devs will budge on that if enough people keep whining and moaning on the forums. Anyone else back into this game?

I tried, but even with the disc it wants to download 15+GB and Diablo 3 just isn't worth that much bandwidth...

Too little too late Blizzard.

the auction house was the ONLY worthwhile thing in d3, wtf...

Pretty much my take on this as well.
I do want to play the new paladin type class in RoS, but not worth the money.

Do you own the game already? If so you arent really losing anything by trying it, lol.

Profit wise.. Maybe. But I'm happier with AH gone.
I am going back to Diablo 3 probably, when I have the time for it.

The Auction house ruined the game.

For anyone who resisted upgrading, D3 is now a complete and utter ghost town.
You can't get anyone to join, at all, for any reason. Nor can you find games.
