Yep, the one in the auction photo has German layout (and 105 keys, not 106).

I bought it. I want to see how the switches and perhaps test the RIT thing. I think if would keep people of my lab space if the keyboard looks "wired" :)

The 'board arrived today. NIB, still with plastic, with instruction sheet and FCC notice. It is really in finnish/swedish layout.
The first thing I realized (other than the layout): I don't like the switches. It feels like I am bottoming out on every stroke. Perhaps switching form a Model M made me type harder.

There was actually an AT102W at my local thrift shop today, labelled USD 1.99.  I was going to buy it (to compare with BS boards), but I wanted a US layout (I suspect this one was UK layout, because Shift-3 was the pound-sign).  I pecked at it briefly, and while tactile, it lacked the robust click of a BS board.

Today's fun mystery: how did an AT102W end up in the Southwest US, where the layout would not be valuable?  I sort of wouldn't mind trying an AT101W, but I think I'd need to build a sounding box to amplify its noise level.

I'm in Ireland, so I can't imagine the shipping to England would be too bad. I don't have the keyboard to hand at the moment, but when I do I will send you some pics and we can arrange something then.
